Advanced Map Module

In the main Advanced Map module configuration, you can update common map settings such as language, region, styles, zoom level, and center coordinates.

Additionally, you can select multiple marker groups that reference a data collection from the Advanced Map Marker Groups. This is the core functionality of the module, allowing you to use data references for markers on the map. This makes it possible to include both path-type and regular markers within a single map.

Marker Groups

The Data - Advanced Map Markers Group collection allows you to create groups of markers categorized into two different types: Generic and Path.

  • Generic: A generic marker group consists of standard markers with an info window.
  • Path: A path marker group enables the creation of a set of connected markers, such as a route from point A to point B. A subgroup of markers can also appear along the path. Path markers are interconnected with a dotted line, whose color can be customized.

Layouts

Currently, there are two available layouts that modify the look and feel of the map:

Basic Layout

  • Displays only the main markers.

    • In a Generic group, all markers are displayed.
    • In a Path group, only the main path markers are shown.
  • Marker info windows do not contain detailed information—only a CTA (Call to Action) button that navigates to a detailed map layout page where full marker content is visible.

Detailed Layout

  • On desktop, marker content is displayed in a side panel.
  • On mobile, content appears in a floating modal window.
  • Both main and subgroup path markers are visible.
  • You can configure marker behaviors, such as revealing content in a side panel or an info window.
