How to translate pages

Translating Content

Once you have one page with all the desired modules you click duplicate and you will need to change each individual module to correspond to the desired language.

Just to understand the concept of creating new entries for each language, here is an example of a city with multiple languages. Let's say Madrid city /madrid/ has 3 languages (english, italian, russian). In the pages collection we will have three entries, one for each language with its own slug:

  • /madrid/en/

  • /madrid/it/

  • /madrid/ru/

Each of this pages will need to have a unique version of each module. This means we will have 1 module for madrid russian, another one for madrid italian and so on. Understanding this we can say we have each piece of content duplicated n times the number of languages we have.

To make it simple in the example we would duplicate the Madrid/en/ page once it is complete, to get Madrid/it/. And then each of the modules would also be duplicated for /it/, this way we will have the same amount of information in both languages.
